In terms of its action, Ultrabond is often compared to double-sided tape, as its characteristic stickiness significantly enhances the adhesion of the base coat to the nail surface. The product also helps extend manicure wear, while minimising the risk of cracking and lifting. It features a gentle formula free from methacrylic acid, which does not disrupt the pH balance and allows it to be used even on thin and sensitive nail plates. Ultrabond has a fairly fluid consistency, spreads easily with the brush and covers the nail in a very thin layer in just one stroke.

Directions for use: Wipe excess liquid against the neck of the bottle, then apply a thin layer over the entire nail, avoiding contact with the cuticle and sidewalls. Ultrabond air-dries within 20 seconds, leaving stickiness and a slight shine. Contact with the skin and the area under the cuticle is undesirable; while it does not harm the nails, it may cause the base coat to spread in these areas and may also trigger an allergic reaction to certain components of Ultrabond.
